La FGTA-FO défend les intérêts des travailleurs de l’agriculture et de l’agroalimentaire. Deux secteurs hautement stratégiques qui représentent un bassin d’emploi considérable (environ 800 000 salariés dans les industries agroalimentaires et plus de 14 % des actifs du pays pour l’exploitation agricole) et contribuent directement à l’équilibre positif de la balance commerciale française. Notre action est multiple : information sur les droits et leurs évolutions, formation et aide à la création de syndicats, négociation et défense des intérêts individuels et collectifs des travailleurs des deux secteurs. L’agriculture est un secteur qui recrute mais qui souffre d’un déficit d’image.
Aussi, dans le domaine de l’agroalimentaire, la FGTA-FO participe notamment aux travaux du comité stratégique des industries agroalimentaires afin de rendre la filière plus attractive en matière d’emploi. Elle est aussi impliquée dans plusieurs observatoires destinés à favoriser l’emploi et la formation professionnelle.
Dans le secteur agricole, la FGTA-FO est également impliquée dans la réforme de la PAC et des différents mécanismes de sou- tien de l’agriculture. Elle est aussi à l’origine de nombreux accords signés tant en augmentation de salaires qu’en matière de protection sociale.

Après de nombreuses réunions débutées en 2018, et après moult modifications, la FGTA-FO est signataire de l’accord d’intéressement dans la branche des entrepôts frigorifiques.
La FGTA espère que cet accord va permettre à de nombreux salariés d’améliorer leurs revenus, et que nos militants vont s’emparer de cet outil mis à leur disposition pour appréhender les résultats de leur entreprise.
